Thinking of classical music, and the holiday season upon us, here's some TSO. Got to see these guys a couple of times.
Bonus traditional piece, probably my family's favorite that we have come across.

I don't think that TSO are my cup of tea, but it did get me thinking about classical music and I think probably my first exposure to classical was in cartoons I think nowadays there's too many channels and the Warner Bros and other cartoons that I saw as a child are missed So here's one I found for you to watch ;D and of course the Mickey Mouse Fantasia

Ah, no love for TSO eh?
Good call on the 'toons though. They actually did come to mind when I made this post. I think the following may be my favorite Warner Brothers one when it comes to music. They were definitely dialing up the bizarre factor with this one.
All of the original Fantasia I think is good. A Night on Bald Mountain is probably my favorite sequence.
So many good old cartoons out there. This one doesn't have anything to do with music but was one my siblings and I watched countless times when younger.
And I couldn't help but think about this one, which is considered to be one of the greatest cartoons of all time and has excellent music, but is banned and/or unreleased just about everywhere because of its racial insensitiveness.

OK, back to festive stuff and still on the animated angle or at least stop motion animation.
Has anyone not seen A Nightmare before Christmas? It's a modern classic. The denizens of Halloween Town take over running Christmas, and it has excellent music. Musically it follows the mold of a musically/theater music more but still good.

I've heard of it, but haven't seen it. If it's on over Xmas I'll give it a look ;D
