Hi all,

you might know me as jason_jm from playing on your server. Or from one of the other active active servers left

I am from Munich and therefore not a native English speaker so I'm not always able to understand every voip comment. There were some about me cheating but as you didn't give me the boot I assumed it was joking. Really _no_ haxoring here. A config optimisation here a macro there but nothing else.

moosea: I can tell you how the 'shooting through the wall' works if you don't know anyway. Especially at that spot on the Refinery map where I got you

You UBCs are a really nice bunch to play ETQW with and Id like to continue joining your server. So if there are any issues with me please comment here.

abercrab: you should have seen me when etqw came out. starting as a complete noob i got my a** handed out to me for about two years on a daily basis.

Hazik: thats good to hear. i realy thougth you had some time ago. this teaches me that trying to tell what people are saying over voip just by the tone is not the best idea. i promise to find me a mic, set up that voip stuff and simply ask if and what is adressed to me in the future.

btw: i really enjoyed that crate stacking session in warmup two days ago (minecraft anyone?). especially that it continued within the following match so that we had a litte stack in front of the sewer building.

malkofish: i tried it yesterday. its still very beta. it took me 3 hours to connect to a server. but finally i got to play it for some minutes. gameplay is quite slow and it seems to be a snipercampfest but together with the building/diging it could be fun.

moosea: yes and yes . the list of singleplayer games i played would be very long. started with atari2600 continuing with C64/128, amiga and finally pc the last two nintendo generations and xbox360. damn i notice as i write what a friggin game nerd i am. how could that happen? ;D

online is a different story. i started with stalker soc which was quite fun but without cheat protection there were lots of supermen jumping over 3 storey buildings and stuff. so after few weeks i quit. then a w:et playing friend pointed me at etqw when it came out and i got hooked instantly.

strontiumdog: my 'shooting through wall' is based on the fact that the headbox is bigger than the visible head. so if one hides close behind a edge you can scan the edge with your reticule next to where you assume the head. when the playername shows... boom headshot. on the receiving side this feels like one has been shot through the wall because there is no line of sight.

what i often do is the quickscope/quickreload with sniperrifle and grenadelauncher (basicly switching to pistol/knife and back right after the shot to skip the reload anmiation).
i often saw this in videos of other games like counterstrike so i always thought this isnt considered a glitch, is it?
