I read on the net that it caused people to lose their info on the hard drive due to some flaw in the design. ;D

Never bothered to get XP, won't upgrade to Vista before SP1 or 2.

Going to vista if u want to play games (especially with nvidia cards) is bad idea. techgage.com/article/windows_vista_gaming_performance_reportsI thinking home premium after SP1 or sooner if some games demand dx10. And i hope then the all the drivers needed for the 64bit version are ok so i can use that. Using the 32bit vista now is like riding with bicycle with only 1 tire on. ;D |

the latest nvidia driver fixed SLI but the worst thing is wolf wont work LOL. Thankfully I ran dual boot so I can play it in XP. Half life runs terrible and BF2 multi is fubared. The only game that seems to run better is Oblivion. Hopefully in a few months things will smooth out. I love Vista's interface it's nice.

Oh shit.. thank God I dident buy Vista today, after reading this, I was only a few clicks away from buying it, when I though, ahh fuck it, I'll wait until SP1--> I'll go with the Home Premium edit  |

Update ........
i got all my games working (so far anyway) I had to run the EXE's by right clicking and running them as administrator. So far all are running good. They are running a little slower than XP but work great. ET is working fine now but the performance is also slower.

another update. I got all my games working and most are running better than XP now including ET!! Turning off Superfetch worked wonders. Looks like I can ditch XP now |

LMAO. Nvidia and creative both need to get their stuff together. I have a few issues with my 8800's that they need to work on for sure. But these same problems were also in XP. |
