Hey guys,
I m thinking of adding a new 300BG SATA drive to my comp (going to rip all my CD albums with 256KB/s which means 1 minute of music will be 2 megs), and guess that I should invest some €€€ into HDD cooling too.
Which cooling systems for HDDs do you recommend? I thought of getting one of these alloy things with 2 fans in them.

I would recomment one with cooling Heat Pipes insteat of fan cooling (= 0 noice) I have no experience in HDD. cooling, so I can't really recomment one.

www.nexustek.nl/frizzbee.htmI think all these coolers are useless, well if your case isnt totally incapable moving the hot air and if it is its much wiser to buy a totally new case.

shouldnt think you need to cool your hd's mcnite. If you have a good airflow movement through your case, that should be enough. I used to have 3 hdds (1 sata, 2 pata) in my lian-li (1cm apart). The fresh air fom the front was drawn over them into the case, and they didnt get that warm.
