Vista vs XP

So, got all 4 versions (no, don't ask how)

XP professional 32bit
XP professional 64bit

Vista Ultimate 32bit
Vista Ultimate 64bit

So am deciding which version to use when i format and clean up my pc this week. Hear a lot of bad things about both 64bit versions because of the lousy driver support. A shame because the performance of my E6750 would go up using 64bit OS

Anyway, opinions are divided about xp or vista. In the beginning, heard a lot of shit about Vista, but steadily, more and more users start to like it.

Anyone got some personal experience with both?

I looked around for some benchmarks comparing the both.

Especially the part about using 3D modeling progs...
Me being a mechanical designer and working with Pro-Engineer and Inventor cannot afford to go to vista atm it seems.

A disgrace that windows dares to deliver such an OS, normally they're bad as it is, but this.....
