Zackdem is coming from an old teenage movie I saw when I was young (can't remeber the title).
It is the contraction of 2 french words, and the first one is transformed to fit with an english first name, and only the first case of the second.
It means scumbag (Zack de M... : zack for sac, that mean bag in french / de M for merde, that mean shit)
A nice one hmmmm ?

Left 4 Dead is great... and that comes from someone who doesn't like zombies games at all.The ilumination, the way the IA works against you and makes it a new experience every time you start a new game... and the fact that you really need the 4 guys to have a real chance of surviving(once I lost 2 survivors and I almost went insane until we got to checkpoint).

It's a game I really recommend to everyone, it has a lot of replay value, challenge and teamwork.

Shame I didnt think about telling everyone when there was a free-demo before the release it didn't cross my mind at the momment. I never really liked zombies games, but after I played the demo... I HAD to get that game.

Big temptation, but I haven't a lot of time to play at the moment (and I also play on my PS3) so I think I will wait a little bit before I'll buy it.

My son down loaded it from the Internet and I tried it out at his house
I usually don't like those type of games but was it was really wild when all the zombies rush you
You really need the whole team to survive
But one problem with his download it was all in Russian

Alright, there are 4 survivors on X set of maps surrounded by zombies. They have to get somewhere to escape, so it's running and shooting through the 5 maps, from one checkpoint to the other... There are normal zombies and special zombies with different kind of "powers".

There are 2 kind of multiplayer options, you can go coop game, where you and your friends go through the maps at the difficulty chosen, or you can go into VS mode, which is pretty much the same than coop but there are other 4 players playing the zombies, the score in coop goes on how much survivors are at the end of the checkpoint, damage taken, stuff like that... so its pretty balanced on that aspect.

From what I know, everyone have for main objectives to help his teammate to survive. There are four character you can choose, a young girl, a biker, a black trader, and an old vietnam veteran. No matter wich one you choose you can play the way you like, it's more the kind of weapon you choose that will give you your role. Everyone has to take care of the others, healing, covering and supplying ammunitions.

The purpose of the is to cross a town infected by zombies. There is a zombies against survivor mod, just as a stopwatch in QW, or you can just play against a Special IA that send you zombies and the special ones, that are like some boss. Also when it's the human vs zombies mod (4 vs 4), the players that controls zombies, play only in the role of those special zombies and need to teamwork to slow down or kill the survivors.

Alll what I could read for now, say that game is a must-have and I will.

ive only played versus the pc so far to get used to the game. but the tank thing i havent worked out what it is yet??
i have noatich i normal get the high scouer with it tho out of the team at the end.

i love the diffent ways the zombie dies and fell over and the blood going everwhere is good 2
