Hi guys, maybe one of you can help me here: I need a sound editing program (preferably freeware) which I can edit soundfiles (music) with, e.g. cut songs into pieces etc, convert KB/s rates etc. If you are using anything that works well, plz let me know. Thanks!

Wow... I used to do that a lot, and I had very good programs back then but I can't remember the name of them(cool edit pro and wavelab I think, but I cant be sure). I use one to make rigntones and other kind of funny mixes, maybe that would help, it's quite complete. Here it is,hope it works for you. www.megaupload.com/?d=DZ5WUTHZ

Audacity is open source sound editor, it's supposed to be good for editing, and it's totally free.
