What media player for music files do you use? I was still using the media player 7.0 since I didn't want to upgrade to the new MS crap. Can you recommend anything?

I am using winamp for 2 years and I am quiet happy with it. You can listen the web radio with it. I never heard of an underground lighted player except of vlc media player.

Winamp or VLC Media Player, if you want to play many different video file types as well.... Combo works well for me for about 3 years or so...

Thx will try them out. Do they both also play flash videos and quicktime format? I have quite some music videos in those formats, especially quicktime.
As a go-between I m using the creative player that came with my soundcard, but the handling is strange... also it doesn't play videos, I think.

Hm it looks like winamp has a problem with .flv files recorded with WebVideoCap v1.35. The .flv play fine with flvplayer though. Does anyone have a solution to this or can recommend another capture program which does not cut off videos after 5 mins?

Hm it should be no problem for the winamp. I can play .flv that I downloaded from other sources fine. But winamp crashes when I try to replay the .flv files I downloaded using the web thingy. So what I need is a different utility to download streaming flv from youtube, so I can play the videos in my winamp later on.
I was hoping to be happy with only one player...

McNite, why not just download real music videos in xvid/what not format, you'd get good pic&sounds quality and winamp would play them no prob
