Mystery puzzle

The last couple of puzzle/trick posts got me thinking about a number of mystery games I know of. I've wondered in the past how well they would work in a forum. There is no better group to try one out on then you guys so I'm going to toss one out and see how it goes. If you already know the answer, please don't give it away. I know one person already knows the solution. The work getting to the final answer is what is fun about these.

So the way it works is that I make a brief statement/description, and everyone else has to figure out "what happened"/"what is the full story". I will answer any questions about the statement as long as it can be answered by a "yes" or a "no". I may also say "doesn't matter" to keep everyone from running too far off track.

So here is an easy one to try out first...

Mystery #1:

A cabin is on the side of a mountain. There are 2 dead bodies inside it. What happened?

I think it was two people who went to the cabin to comitte suicide.
They had not paid their internet bill and had been cut off.
With no QW, or even msn, they realised life was crap and decided to kill themselves.
They ran a bath and both sat in it before dropping their now useless computer into the bath with them. They died of electrocution.
No one knows they are dead because they always had their msn set to 'appear offline'.

Case solved!

Here's a little tip on questions. Not that you can't get lucky with a focused question, but normally asking broader and more general questions gets you pointed in the right direction faster. You've all correctly determined that how they died is important. There are questions that can be asked that can help narrow the possible causes rather than randomly asking out right about specific causes.
