Not sure if this worldwide or not, but prebuy of Windows 7 upgrades from XP and Vista starts today. Home edition is $50 American and, I think, $99 for Professional. This offer is supposedly only good for the next two weeks or so and there is supposedly only a limited number being released.

I believe us Europeans will not have the upgrade option at all. Microsoft says its incompatible with Euro regulations for some BS reason.  Otherwise i would register, win7 looks like a worthwhile upgrade at those prices. |

mmmmm im not going to say who. but my friend has mange some how to get a copy a bater ro something of it and says it isnt good.
he say vista is a poop and windows7 is a poop with a red ribben put around it

I'm quite happy with Vista, but for 50 bucks and the odds that Vista will be dropped as soon as possible I couldn't pass it up.
Also, it sounds like home network stuff is improved. I just got both my old and new PC's on a wireless router. They both connect fine, but I'm having a heck of a time trying access and share files between them.
Can get my own personal one-on-one QW matches going though.

Vista is horrible! Put a DVD in and click 'run DVD' and then Vista asks if your sure you want to run it!! Just little annoying things like that make it a pain. Hope windows 7 is much better! |

All those initial annoying things like that can be tweaked. The initial security mode is horrible. After tweaking, I think it's better than XP. I'm running 12 gigs of RAM, XP can't touch that. |

if you install 4GB of ram is doesn't recognize 1GB of it.

Well I couldn't post anywhere else. so I was wondering. maybe you guys wanted to play our guys without me or boyr4cer playing? it can be done, that way our differences can be put aside... for the game. to be sure I will be online, but on our public server, and so will boyr4cer with me, the players you will be playing will be our "bog standard" players... reason why im posting this is because Somati asked us, and you didn't want to because of our differences.... I figure if you are STILL hung up on me being a cheat then I figure this is the best way to let mine and the clans differences be seperate. In laymans terms............. I am not here to justify whether i cheat or not because you will believe what you like anyway, im here to set the differences between me and you aside from our clans... it will be a fun match on a passworded vanilla server which I will pay for so you guys can play a game on... I cannot be any fairer than that! I shouldn't expect you to decline this proposal but im sure there might be a chance you will find some sort of excuse not to.
