with Battlefield Bad Company II coming beginning of March, what do you think? Can't you wait, will you try it out of curiosity, or can't you be bothered?

But is it slower than QW from what ive seen it looks faster? I only say this because i.ve been playing CODMW2 MP and you have to be so much quicker than QW, but will have to see

I have a good feeling about it,
I had a small talk with my friend who tried the beta and now I wanted to by the game.

But surely the game will be slower than QW (but QW looks very fast after L4D and supersonic after a Killing Floor session )

Okay bought the limited edition today, just had a brief run through, but on my machine it seems fast and really well done. I will post a more detailed review once I have had time to run through it and tested it a bit more. The first impressions are quite good, I have to admit that.

My soldier's name is........ Frootlupe. Real surprising, eh? I pre-ordered and got limited edition so I have the AKS-74U, M1A1, M1911??, extra tank armor/weapons capability/radar.

I certainly will try it out once EA works out their connectivity details.

Currently I can't connect to any servers but I can see their message saying that they are aware of connectivity problems. I spoke with Chinagirl this morning and he said that his cousin was having problems connecting as well.

As soon as I can get on I will let you know how it works for me. Damn game looks wonderful from what I can tell though. Something like 8 or more sniper rifles to earn. ;D

Alright, so I went on the ]UBC[ server. It is in good working condition and hasn't lagged that I know of. I was the only person on it, but still.
MC, when you go into the server settings, see if you can change the game mode. I believe it is currently set to conquest, or maybe all modes, but probably only conquest. I have played all the modes as of now and I prefer the rush game mode. It is more intense and I feel that it is more fun. I also believe it gives you more xp?, but I might be wrong there. Squad rush/conquest is the same concept but with fewer players and more teams I believe.
The all maps setting is fine, for they are all fun.

K4CH - I think I sent you a friend request, and I haven't had any major conection problems. It wouldn't let me connect for a few minutes, but I just kept trying and it worked finally.

Everyone who is buying this game: You do not need to put your clan tag in your actual soldier name. There is a clan tag option. I will put my cla tag on next time I'm on. Also, if you do not know how to input your pre-order/limited edition codes for the bonus weapons and whatever, go to Multiplayer. There will be something that says Redeem Code. Click that and then enter your code. Enter your codes seperately if you have more than one.

Vehicles are slower than QW's but they make up for that in pwnage power. Rocket launchers and RPG's don't automatically come with lock on capabilities, and the only way you can get lock-on is to fire a tracer dart at the enemy vehicle and then fire your rocket. Headshots aren't as important as they are in QW, and, unless you're a sniper, you don't really need them. The weapons rates of fire are higher, and players have less health. Med packs are less important than they are in QW because you slowly regenerate health over time, but they do help a lot. Ammo packs are way more important in BFBC2 than they are in QW, mainly because all your ammo can disappear in a flash against a skilled opponent.

I bought it today but I have the same problems as KACH

No connexion possible to any server
some "connexion to the server lost, check your internet connectivity and try again later" message when trying to connect...

I hope this will not take to much time to fix, it looks like a lot of players have this problems.

There is also some PB issue but there is a solution posted on EA BF:BC2 forums
