Just need to share my anger about killcams... I was running quite a distance to get a good spot in a lighthouse (I guess you know the map), and was having fun putting holes into heads of the attacking team. Well that was my intention. A short while after I killed the first player, exactly that guy sneaked up behind me and knifed me. I m sure he only knew where I was because of the fucking killcam giving away my precious position...

Actually I had the same problem MC. A guy in the lighthouse killed me, but the killcam did not give away his position.
What did was the little red mark someone put above his head. Trust me, killcam does not give away positions. Maybe move after you snipe? That's what I do, and it seems to work.

The little red dots on the player heads or on the command map work the same as in QW. You get them when a sniper in your team has the unlock of a special scope.

You don't need special unlocks to do that. Just point your crosshair to an enemy and press Q ,and it's marked. With the little helicopter you can mark dozens of enemys that way

Does the marking stay on the spot you marked, or does it move around with the marked player?

It moves around with the marked player.
You even receive points when the player you marked get killed by another player.
What I don't really sort out yet is how long that mark stays. Cause everyone is shooting immediately at the marked players,so they usually survive only a few seconds ;D
