what is a ps3 Control Pad on this???

im thinking about buying this for my newph but i have no ideal what the control pad is. it is sold Separately on this 1

From what I can tell, is that the control pad that the picture of the wheel shows nestled into it doesn't actually come with it and you need to have one to use with it. It looks like the wheel is an attachment for the PS3 controller that lets it act more like a steering wheel.

This part doesn't come with it, although its shown in the picture.

I agree, especially when they sell them online and don't give the greatest of explanations.

Watch out that your nephew has a racing-game that will support the SIXAXIS-PAD otherwise its useless. The most games on a ps3 doesnt support it!
