Was thinking about buying one of these
OCZ Colossus LT Series OCZSSD2-1CLSLT1T 3.5" 1TB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Woah, did you see the price on that thing? I think it's overkill. Trying to calculate off the top of my head, I think you are paying something like an extra $1 per Gig for that drive versus the smaller ones.

Yeah, I have a thought about it: don't buy it! Don't use a SSD for data-storage for now just yet. Harddisks are still a better price/storage option and most speed-up you'll get to put your OS and most used game(s)/program(s) on it. Windows Vista(SP2)/Windows 7: 64gb will hold it, but 120gb will be enough in most cases (OS including games/programs). Keep in mind to always have some 10gb of free space at least.
