I always quite fancied making a DIY version of those using one of these USB adapters that let you connect the original keyboard to a PC. I doubt I'll be forking out for one of these new boxes though. Sure does

Sure does We may have discussed this before but what were some of your favorite games? I spent a lot of time on Impossible Mission. Jumpman and Space Taxi were definitely a couple of favorites. One of my crowing achievements was on the text based game, Suspended. zman figured a good portion of it out but got stuck. I was finally able to finish it off.

I had an Acorn Electron (the home version of the BBC Micro) and after that a ZX Spectrum, but I expect most of the stuff I played was available on the C64. I was always a bit jealous of games like IK+, Bubble Bobble and California Games when I played the C64 versions with their shiny colours Enjoyed a lot of games by Ocean software like Head over Heels and Wizball as well as monochrome arcade ports of Chase HQ and Hyper Sports.

Hehe, I wish. That is awesome. Commodore 65. That auction started at a penny. Amazing. Prince of Persia on 64 would have been sweet back in the day.
