Random American groups

Heard this first one on public radio and got me thinking of a couple of other tunes I've heard in the last year or so that were kind of interesting. Not necessarily stuff I would listen to all the time but different anyways.


Not sure what is going on exactly here but definitely some odd licking at one point.



I'm not one for much electronic music but I caught this on public tv one night and kind of was hypnotized by the oddness.


If nothing else I find this video quite entertaining.

Can't say I'm much interested in either of the first two groups, but The Black Keys I know of. Was at a friend's house the other day and he's really into the classics, like The Doors and Santana, pretty much all that sweet, sweet hippie music. But anyway, he had some Black Keys on his iTunes and we listened for a bit.

Makes me glad that rock isn't quite dead yet .
