Call me weird or what have you, but the lyrics to this first song make me feel insignificant in this big world. Making you all go to YouTube for this one so you can all read them if you want. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YHLXBqTM6M&feature=BFa&list=PL3218EBF360CFB94B&index=31This next song has inspired me to start writing a little short story. I'm pretty into the fantasy genre, but I also like when some pretty dark things are incorporated into it. Also gonna have you go to YouTube for the lyrics' sake, can't quite understand them in this one. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fba6eUzW-1Q&feature=BFa&list=PL3218EBF360CFB94B&lf=BFaAnd this one sort of makes me cry a little when I think about it, even though I can't quite relate to this kind of emotional pain. All these songs are by Amon Amarth, a Swedish (go figure) band. I understand this genre isn't for everyone.... Ok, it isn't for most people ;D. Just thought I'd put it out here for hell of it  . EDIT: Okay, some of you may be thinking, "Where did this come from?" due to some of my previous music posts..... Well, I basically like it all  . Can't stand rap and country, or any sub-genres, but apart from that I can at least tolerate and appreciate just about anything. |

In general I'd agree with you, but programmes like Bob Dylan's Radio Hour taught me there is some good country out there. Now, for no other reason than that I just thought about Bob playing it: Actually, I think these tunes were both in Sopranos episodes. I always think of Bob Dylan as more folk than country, but yes, there are a few guys out there (mainly more small-time I've noticed) who can play a country tune that catches my attention. And no worries about "de-railing" the thread ;D. I didn't really expect anyone to reply at all, so I'm happy . ;D ;D |

Fruit, I'd like those Scandavian heavy bands so much more if they didn't sing in those gutteral, croaking voices. It actually makes me giggle sometimes.
An obvious one, but some more 'Viking' music.
