STU is supposedly putting together some big tournament and zman and I are looking to put together a team. I have no details yet, but it seems to be all the buzz.
Having a ]UBC[ team seems unlikely since two of us(moosea and seele) have been stolen by the current iteration of NML (booo, hisssss).
I'm hoping to snag the rest of our QW active players for sure
spongie, malkie, mcv, hoover
and maybe x will be ready then

I'm not sure how's honde sitting right now with a system
I've seen metroid signed on game but haven't caught you in game to know for sure
Maybe frootie will be lure into dusting some skills off
Testie might still be tied up with projects
Others we've talked about
zman has talked to greasyoldgranny about playing
I plan on asking JinxterX and DaveUK if they are interested.
Post up your interest. I'll probably be bugging everyone ingame, pm, any other method I can think of.

What rules/format are they going with? I'd be willing to give it a go, time permitting, but would rather not play 4v4. Since we're likely to get stuffed every match we'll need a suitably pithy name and some smart team colours.  Edit: I can't believe NML have already poached two of our players. |

So it is supposedly promod, which may turn some folks off. I'm willing to give it a go even though I've played maybe a couple of hours of promod. I plan on getting some practices together. I'm hoping it is at least 6v6. NML has like 12 players so it better be more than 4v4.

A lot of servers will let you download the maps directly when you try to connect*. I think you need all the maps in a servers rotation before you can connect, though. So if you try to join somewhere like the ICE Nirvana server you'll need to grab a few gigabytes before you can start.
*caveat about downloading files from random IPs goes here. I have no idea how feasible it would be to execute malicious code from a PK4 zip, but...

Super short notice, match with Outlawed tomorrow at 8PM eastern. So that is 1AM GMT, I believe, if anyone is up. I'll be checking often so post up or message me if you think you might be around. zman should be available. We only need 4, but more is nice.

Think they plan on using the Crypt server. Think you guys get a decent connection there too. They may be willing to try the NML one out.
