Hey all, after DirtyRiffs was gasping a lot yesterday and wanted to see what i can see in the game, I just opened this thread and post a screenie of what i can see in the game. Feel free to post screenies of what your game looks like for you too   I made it a 3-part pic because i use a toggle for 3 different r_gamma settings: gamma 1.3, 1.6 and 1.9 so i can adjust the brightness according to the map. For example Oasis = 1.3, but Goldrush i play with 1.6 or 1.9, Braundorf with 1.9 of course. Just on a sidenote: Riffs... when i see u coming from the left here and get behind u... of course u r dead meat. And we don't sit around drinking cucumber tea when we hold practices too  |

It would had been nice to see a screenie from when we were playing. Not a bunch of days later ,when you go and load up specifically to take a screenie. There are no players on there . TAke a shot the next time ur on there playing. Not after u load up a diff config to take the shot (dont know idf thats wut u did).

Well Riffs, its a sorry thing but if u don't believe me that this is my config (AND its still the same as the one I sent you when you were whining last time), I can't do anything about it. And I m not going to start taking screenies each time I kill you too.
Maybe u just need to accept that some ppl do have the skill to down you with a few bullets or own you with a Garand (as I just did on Caen).

This will be my last post on this subject . Also I dont have a problem w/ ppl killing me. Its when u play w/ ppl for a long time and they have decent skill for 3 years. Then all of a sudden there rolling threw ppl, there is something fishy. Not saying there is hacking but when ppl tweak to get better at the game its wrong (imo). You may not have more skill at playing just better settings to make it easier to do things. The way i was brought up thats not right. I guess you take winning at the game more serious than i do. Im not gonna do that stuff to win. BTW IM not the only person that used to play w/ u that has this opinion. Peace

i thought i would reply with my screenshots McNite doesnt cheat/hack, he plays daily like me, by doing this we have both reached a high standard. I roll whole teams sometimes, do i cheat? If you watch me, my kills come through a combination of skill, sneakyness and knowledge of the game. Its exaclty the same with Nite, why dont you spec him a few games before you accuse him? i'm sure he'd be happy to let you do that. My visual settings are turned down but as you can see theres nothing serious here....  thats ike with the flamethrower and blue with the pistol. -$ |

Stat ur good player. But nite kills me much easier than u. I find nothing suspicious w/u. Also ive played w/ nite for almost 5 years I know how he plays. He was never this good till recently. Guess he practices. GG

Well if you see Blue running off into weird parts of Oasis or Battery while we all try to do the objectives, you ll know he s chasing after another "pair of objectives"... i guess u gotta set priorities ;D

Yes i play with those settings, hence my post  The point IS that theres less distraction on the screen to see. When i played ET for the first few weeks the scenery was interesting, but the enjoyment for me is in playing. My FPS remains high (normally steady at 76). I see only what i need to see to play. ...and i do considerably better than fine -$ |

Help needed!!!!!!! I was playing with my config file, testing out different hardware and filter settings, and I think I kinda screwed up my whole files. In one of the lines, I disabled the XXX filter setting by mistake, and now I can not find this line in my config file to enable it again.
