On special request of Rogue from GameArena (Australian League) here comes the
Tactical Guide to TheRiver II Redux[/b][/size]
for the maptest for S6 custom maps.
Description of the maplayout
First Stage
---------------------------------
Allies have to get a forward spawn by repairing a broken Engine Control Panel. Axis defends the Panel.
If Allies get the Panel fixed, it gives and secures a forward spawn and Axis spawn falls back into the Castle Bunker.
Core task in the first stage is to repair the panel.
Although Allies can get the docs without doing the first stage, its VERY recommended to repair the panel, because Axis spawns at the Escape Truck in the first stage, and thus delivering the docs while Axis spawns there is unlikely.
Second Stage
---------------------------------
Allies capture the Bunker Flag to get a spawn close to the documents. Also they blow up the Bridge Controls to lower the Bridge.
Then they need to steal the documents and take them to the waiting Escape Truck.
The core task in the 2nd stage is to get the Documents out of the Castle. Once Allies have them outside, Axis can get them back, but its not that likely. In any case getting the docs and getting them outside requires good teamplay by Allies.

Allied Attack
Start at the Allied Spawn:
Opening the wall in the wine cellars (takes 1 grenade), the wall in the cave has to be opened the same way (2 nades is fastest):
The Engine Room with the Engine Panel: Repairing the Panel gives the forward spawn and makes the Axis Spawn fall back to the Castle.
After taking over the Tram Station: Attack on the Bridge (left) and on the Front Wall (middle)
After taking over the Tram Station: other route to attack the Front Wall (left) or enter the Castle via River Stair (back way)
Bridge Controls and Allied Bunker Flag: place the dyno directly in front of the Controls to blow them up; destroying the Controls lowers the Bridge.

Axis Defense
Axis first spawn and routes to the Tram Station:
Detail of where to set up defense in the Tram Station (it is also possible to get on the roofs for defending the Tunnel Barrier)
Tunnel Barrier: closes the Tunnel and prevents Allies from having an easy access to the Tram Station.
After loosing the Tram Station: setting up the 2nd Defense to prevent Allies from entering the Castle or Bunker:

Getting into defense positions and setting up crossfire in the compound:
