I was playing on your server the other day and I was kicked.
I was being specked for a while, and I was asked a question from ]UBC[moose.

"can you tell me why your crosshair follows the other team when you die"

I did explain at the time, that when you die, your crosshair follows the player that killed you, or, a nearby medic on your current team.

I was kicked shortly after with a "good bye".

I went back after playing a few games on another server, and spoke with ]UBC[z_man.

he said, I look like i am using a 'hack', and a demo has been submitted and I would know shortly.your server gives me low pings at night and is one of the only servers which is not empty at night, I would play on my clan's server but unfortunately for me, it was empty.

I am sorry if I did something wrong. I play on pro alot which helps with my gameplay.

I am friends with p0isonblack, and we talked about configurations and stuff, we also played and he is at or better than my skill level.
Please can we resolve this matter as I dont want to not visit your server when others are empty.

Hi ispellcorrectly,

I speced you for 3 maps after another player on our server suggested that you were using a hack.

Your cross hairs, on several occasions appeared to 'follow' members of the opposing team - not just the one you were killed by.

You seemed able to kill the opposing team while taking no time to aim. Again, you did not appear to be hitting the opposing player that much.
You seem to move very fast, even with low xp.
Other experienced players on our server also typed that they had thought you were cheating.

For someone with such 'skill' with the assault rifle/ lacerator your grenade skills were poor.

Regarding pOisonblack, it is not my usual policy to discuss other players by name in public forums. That said, I have played pOisonblack on many occasions and recognise that he is an excellent player with good all round skills. That in no way points to a person using a hack.
In your case, it is my opinion that the factors stated above do not add up to a player with good all round skills, but added up to a player who may have had a little help, therefore I had no other option but to kick or ban you.

Your kill to death ratio is higher than any of the top 20 players ( I am assuming that this is a smurf account)

]UBC[ has a strict no cheating policy. This is to ensure fun games for everyone on our server.

I am more than happy to have my clan mates look at the demos I took of you.
I have played over 800 hours of QW, and feel that a kick was well justified, and a ban would have also been.

I take the admining of our server very seriously. It is extremely rare for me to kick or ban a player and I will always take advice from more experienced players where possible.

I can only suggest that you find another late night server to game on.

And I agree: other players don't need to be discussed. If we have a problem with them, they ll find out. If they have a problem with us, they can tell us. But its none of your business.

any chance my clanmates can get a copy of the demos you have of my gameplay.

I dont understand what you meant when you said I move faster than others?

the only way I move fast is to take knife out and while using sprint strafe left and right with a flick of the mouse, try it.

my grenade skill... your basing my kick/future ban on me throwing grenades? thats silly.

my kill to death ratio is higher than the top 20 players? and? what does that prove, that I am cheating? my clan do not understand why I am being kicked/possibly banned for suck a non theoretical reason.

is there any chance I could take the demos to PBBANS.com and get their opinion? I am a member there and used to have wolfenstien enemy territory servers streaming with them, they have already run a background check on me and i have come out clean.

please could I do what i can to help my situation.

No, but it is one of the things which I found strange with your game.

PBBANS can view the demos all day long. We all know that there are hacks out there which are near undetectable. Also, if you get banned from a privately run and privately funded server there is little PBBANS can do about it.

Did they run it the evening you were on our server?? Again, most available hacks are undetectable - they weren't selling many of the easily detectable types any more

please could I do what i can to help my situation.

PMing me your other in game names may be a start. That way I can check on how you acquired such 'skillz'

On a final note, could you remmind me again why it is that you are so desperate to play on our server? As you are already aware, I play late into the night and I have no problems finding servers with low to moderate ping to play on.

regarding the demos, why would i have to wait for your clanmates to see them before we do? < just a friendly question.

regarding the grenade skill.... you have to hit every time you throw a grenade? you might see me a few times throw into space, if you look the place i was originally going to throw the grenade, a temamember had ran there.

my kill to death ratio is high because the secret to getting it high is to know not to go into battle with more than two people at a time face you from the same direction or close to. I use my radar constantly, while radar tracking I can quickly learn what situation I could be in, like if there is two I can shoot while moving around the corner to get the first shot, and know where the other player is to! by anticipating their next move you can decide what direction they will run to.

if you can looka t a demo and decide if somebody is using a hack, then im sure with the experience and knowledge of those people at PBBANS.com they would be able to give you a definate decision of whether it is a real hack or not, unfortunately our eyes are untrained to decide if somebody is using a hack/cheat/help just by watching a demo, I think that if anyone should have an opinon whether i hack/cheat/use help it should be these guys.

regarding where to get and buy hacks from? you seem to know more about buying and getting hacks for free more than me, where would i find these hacks and how much where they? I am part of the PBBANS.com community and I would gladly send the link to them to get these hacks trialed and detected.

I don't have another account, this has been my account for a very long time, I played mostly on pro and unranked servers, recently I have been playing on ranked servers as the bots on the unranked servers are no longer a challenge, they take the same routes etc.

I like to play on your server because my friends and clanmembers like to play there, and our clan server is sometimes empty at night.

I do believe you was questioning one of my clanmembers about me the other day, and he told you to post on our forums, I would like to invite you to post on our forums about this situation and get the views and opinions of our members to. I am sure you can find around 2-3 minutes of your time to make a post.
To add to this point, it is not my clanmebers normal 'policy' to talk about other players while having their fun on public servers.

I cannot play on large servers because i receive lag from them, and your server is small enough not to give me lags and I can play to the best of my ability.

could i make a friendly request?

in the demos you provide, could you explain when and where you see that i may have a hack/cheat/help, this would be a great help with my clan members so we could talk about those and find a solution to why these happen.

I have played enemy territory quake wars since the beta version, i am suprised you have not seen me around before.

But I checked your name on splatterladder.com.
And to cross check the results I also checked an account I know to be playing much time on PRO-servers.
Would you be playing QW since the beta, splatterladder would give me more than 34.2 hrs of playing, on accounts:

the former being the only account with real playtime on it (the latter played 0 sec. according to splatterladder) and
90.2% Base QW and 9.8% ETQW Pro

So something must be wrong with your statement, since in my cross-check I found every time more playing time on splatterladder for Base Servers than in the corresponding official ranking. Due to this I conclude that the same time difference is with PRO Mod.

Want me to dig even deeper? Don't think so... seems not be worth the efford. <= (thats a period)

firstly mr mcnite, I did not come here to apologize and I am not banned off your server, I came here to see what justified my kick, and why.

have you finished with the demos yet? could I please kindly take those to my clanmates?

Fossibear, I know that you people here are very stat orientated, and I knew you would pull out something to try and "catch me out" well I have something for you to look at.

so before I came to your boards I decided to do some research myself on the ]UBC[ clan itself, it turns out I am being banned for the same reason others have been kicked/banned on this board, and the reason you use is cheating, in which actual fact these people may NOT cheat, it seems you may use this as an excuse to push people off your server.

when you have not played for a certain amount of time using a specific name, the stats get reset back to 0 on splatterladder.
I did have one other name other than ispellcorrectly but i really wanted to keep it private and that account was deleted a long long while back as I quit playing enemy territory quake wars.

I do understand why you are doing this, non of your clans kill to death ratio is higher than 2.05, non of your clan have a higher accuracy of 33% apart from mcnite, who seems to be the leader of this clan, and mcnite has not even stepped back to sort the situation out. seems you dont want a higher skill level on your server, and i suppose when mcnite is on, he would do exactly as me, and he is affraid of being killed alot more?

I also looked at some other topics on your precious boards.
mcnite will not participate in any ladders because they are full of cheats. proves to me that non of you know how to spot a hack and anyone with a higher skill level you will ban without a bat of an eyelid.

I got a job today, so maybe my skill will go down a bit due to the lack of time I am able to commit to the game, and my kill to death ratio still has time to lower itself, a 5 to 1 ratio is hard to maintain, and any one of you could do it if you didnt concentrate on your silly binds and talk so much.

I use default controls and 1 bind that is my delete key for /kill and it is changed to "z" while on pro. learn the game before you accuse, and maybe you will see that people can reach a threshhold that others may not be able to.
