Interesting article focusing on Hard Disk Short Stroking. www.tomshardware.com/reviews/short-stroking-hdd,2157.html Short Stroking doesn't look to be all that useful to the home user, but the article has some interesting performance comparisons between different drives and setups. If I would have read this a few months ago, I would have been a lot more tempted to get some 15k rpm drives and set them up in a RAID array.

Thanks Abe, very interesting Don't know if I'd like lots of hard drives working at 10% capacity and pumping out all that heat though!
