BSOD...

This is the most fun everyone can have with his computer... I got the BSOD today. Well almost. Because the pc didn't even start up xp, and it wasn't possible to repair it as well. Actually it was an all black screen then telling me the computer can't start.
The best part is that I lost my favorites from firefox of the last 11 months, didn't safe them regularly

By now I m at least back at having internet and firefox...

Next time you might want to run ERD Commander(or winternals), it's a very powerful(and I mean it) tool which you can use for a lot of stuff related to recovery. You can change a password of an user without knowing the last one, you can try to make a recovery from the hard drive, it even boots windows when the PC is almost beyond repair. You can run winternals even on another PC with the harddrive of your original PC, since it isnt really windows, it shouldnt give you a hard time booting.

I'm giving out a lot of my secrets as technician here, but I doubt someone will come to Puerto Rico to compete against my costumers ;D
