OK, per SD's request per moosea even though the last one has yet to be formally answered, another mystery. This one should crank the difficulty back up.
A man goes to work in an office building every day. On sunny days he uses the stairs, but on rainy days he takes the elevator. Why?

Is he a drug dealer? - on rainy days more people stay in and take drugs, he has to carry them to his office, so he takes the elevator!  The stairs have solar lights - on sunny days he can see to use them on rainy days he can't!!! Oh, noo! I think i got it!! his alarm clock is solar powered so on sunny days he has time to take the stairs!! On rainy days he is late!!!! On sunny days he cycles to work and his cycle dosen't fit in the elevator. On rainy days he uses his car! He has obsessive compulsive disorder and has to take the stairs on sunny days so not to break his ritual?? He waters the plants near the stairs on his way into work on sunny days? He's having an affair with the woman from the 3rd floor. On rainy days her huband drives her to work and walks her up the stairs to her office. On sunny days he meets up with her on the stairs!!! On sunny days he goes to the pub until lunchtime. He 'phones work in the morning to tell them he's late. He runs up the stairs so that when his boss sees him, it looks like he has run all the way to work! |

Those are all no's. I hope Xacuit takes a stab at this one because I can only imagine the names he'll call me when the answer comes out. Definitely need to ask some more general type questions about what's been given to you in the mystery statement like was done with the airplane one. Very unlikely to randomly guess the actual answer, although they are fun to read. |
