hello

right for a few mouths now qw has been making my pc crash. not when im in the game just as im shutting down the pc it gose to that. it is fine with every other game i play it is just qw. it also never did b4 hand and it only dose it now and again???

also of late you may have notich i keep getting diconneted from servers. well it is the same thing as it only happens in qw. my internet isnt slow as i live right out side a hub. so my internet is very fast also when i brows the net it isnt slow.

so i dont know what to do with every but from maybe reinstall qw? but would i lose my blines Igor made me?

had the same prob a while ago but i caused the problems by down loading corrupt files for ETQW Pro and lost all my binds

you will lose your binds on a reinstall

you can make a copy or move your binds before you reinstall etqw. and replace the binds after

Hi H,Think all you can do is to reinstall qwet,but as oakey has said,make a copy off your autoexec file&place it somewere like your desktop,so when you uninstall qwet you won't loose your bind setting's,then after you have set qwet back up you can copy&paste your original autoexec file into your profile,base folder.If you do this&you have a prob you can msn me&i will help you do it,i will be about tomorrow evening but not in the day.Ok m8?

Maybe also check whether QW piled up a huge load of screenshots, and delete that folder too, and then have a defrag of C. That usually helps with performance as well.
Its actually the reason for me to install my games in other partitions.
Another thing is that QW needs a good deal of virtual memory, no idea whether you set enough of that.

i have reinstaled everything and maged not to deleat blines so alls good. just have to wait and see if my pc still crashs and if i keep getting kick

Maybe an idea to reinstall graphic card drive just incase its became corrupted/ updated

I had a similiar problem and was found to be a faulty graphic card i recently bought from e-buyer (bfg 9600gt oc).

Swapped card and sorted

i noticed when you were kicked last night you weren't logged in to the server. but towards the end you logged in as ref, did you get kicked while you were logged in? just wondered whether that changed anything? this happened to me on TWR server a while back but a reinstall sorted it.

hmmmmmmm i not sure if it made any diffents but next time it dose a kicking on me i will log in as ref and see if that stops it?

nah not pb that is sorted now. it is the losing connection 1. what is wride becouse when i frist got this game it never happen???

on a diffent note is qw maps falling apart? i keep founding holes in it now. but im sure those holes never used to been there.

noticed this yesterday on PCB server,
graphics jumping, gaps and cracks. this has been going on for a while, on alot of servers, has been getting really laggy even on ours, especially when the servers are packed and you get near to other players?
so not sure whats going on, so it may not be yours hazik

If it's only this game that's doing it, then I suggest uninstalling it then a reinstall
Should keep all you achievements online, just make a note of your password and player name

yeah did a uninstall and reinstall erelyer this week for it. but it is still doing it. yeah it is only qw what dose it. l4d is abit laggie but thats it
