Wolfenstein... thumbs up or down?

Here we go... there s a release date for the new wolfenstein. Time for all the old style RtCW-veterans, ET players and QW lovers to have a look at screenies ;D

What are your thoughts? Did you play RtCW/ ET and liked it or hated it?

RTCW original great single player didn't bother with MP

wolfenstein, pre ordered, can't wait it looks great and hope they get multiplay right ;D if thats alright should be great team fun

i remenber likeing the the game when it frist came out long timw ago but i never played the mp untill i meet you lot and by then i was used to qw what is more up to date to ET. so i have to say i dislike ET but i am kinder looking forward to the new 1 tho

RTCW was definitely a very good game and I enjoyed it a lot when it was released 8 years ago
I am just hoping that Raven did a good job because I can't remember that they did some very popular games recently ...imo

I only really played ET a few times. I got really lost and shot my own team a lot!!!

RTCW is a brilliant game. Think it took me about a week to play the single player through. The mp is fun too, but there are hardly any servers up.

Cod4 and cod5 are not really my thing, so I'll be looking forwards to having a look at this new game.

My votes goes for "Can't see strogg anymore, need sth new anyways."

I had a game tonight, I had fun. But the excitment is not the same.

If they bring me a gameplay with a good feeling on the shooting and moving side, a good design for multi map and a system that allows mapping from modder, I am their man.

Didn't play RTCW on Multiplayer, but will have fun with this one.
Just hope they get the balance right ;D

i will have to have a read to the forum and check what's going on. I played both rtcw and et. Mostly et it was great and it was free. I hope it doesn't turn too much futuristic.. i like the idea of having a right balance between world war stuff and futuristic weapons, exploits etc. What i like of quake wars is that it seems to be a mix of rtcw and quake with vehicles.. i'll stick to quake wars until you can barely find 3 or 4 players on.. haha.
BUT i am also waiting to play a demo of rtcw2.. i am not up to date much anymore but i've read somewhere that there should be a demo out in august?.

I havent played for a very long time but rtcw was the best multi ever imho. I tried ET but i liked bf1942, bf2, and then bf2142 better so i didnt show up on the forums here much.

but when the new wolfenstein comes out im sure i will be back
