Well that's it, it ain't going on my PC!  I'm not paying for any game that installs SecuROM onto my computer! It's gotta be illegal somewhere, this program that can't be removed by uninstalling the the game it came with  Think the Wolfenstein creators are doing everything possible to commit 'Hari Kiri' with the new Wolfie game  |

Besides that it can't be uninstalled..
.. what is the problem with having it on your comp exactly?

Besides that it can't be uninstalled.. .. what is the problem with having it on your comp exactly? It also limits the amount of times you can install the same disc on different computers. If you have installed it on 2 computers at your house and went round to your mates to show him how good the game was, SecuROM wouldn't allow you to make a third install on any other computer!  Also as far as I understand, it has a time limit on how long you are allowed to use that particular disc that SecuROM came on! It came with Far Cry2 and after 2 years of installation it no longer allows you to play that particular copy of Far Cry! Much more like rental than buying! So you'd have to purchase another copy of Far Cry if you wanted to play it after the 2 year time limit was reached....I'd be on my second copy of ETQW by now and even though it would only cost me a fiver I still think.. SecuROM SUCKS BIG TIME  |

Securom isnt that bad anymore. Im more annoyed of windows live and activation limits and game console orientation and other crap brinning pc gaming down.
