Ok i played on your server many many times and played with many of you on other servers.

So we play a map nite is only UBC player on server.

I switch side at start of map as the sides are 4/7 and NO one else is on the server at the time spec'ing

We won fast end of campaign and a few other people have joined.

Next campaign, go on the attack, nite is speccing np. We get a very fast plant and the team defend.

I run towards are next obj and just as i have killed an enemy im temp kicked. Hmmm ok a mistake.

Wait come back on ask what prob is (no swearing). Nites words "You abused the other side" before i asked what he means kicked again.

So wait come back on and say "Please dont kick nite - please explain what you mean" His words "go play somewhere else" kicked and banned perma.

Sorry but i dont spawn camp I do the obj and help the team as I hate whores. I play for the team and switch sides when I see it needs it.

Sorry but Nite, it seems you have a chip on your shoulder and i dont know what your problem is but your not an advert for a clan in the actions you have treated me.

So I will ask again

Simple thing: there was no reason to switch over to strogg on volcano, teams would ve been fine. They are ALWAYS looking wierd when the comps load the maps, and u know that.
GDF would ve needed a good defense, but u had to switch and play attack (which was over in 6 mins).

And I disliked how you blocked the GDF from leaving their spawn on Quarry, making setting up a defense impossible for them.

All in all: we believe, the games should be fun for all players on the server, not only for those who own the other team. And personally I believe the server is better off without players like you. As I said: go rape on other servers.

nite there was NO one else on spec as the GDF had just rolled over the strogg on the map before - which you and me was part of.

So there was a need for players on strogg.

That said strogg played well and won.

Next map yes we did attack quick but i didnt see any rapeing by me.

I got the plant tried to cover it, died, team covered it i respawned jumped on icarus and got as near to the ship as possible i got hit i was on 20 hp with a hyper i killed 1 guy and u kicked me. Sorry but there was plenty of way the GDF could have defended. But all i saw was me being kicked.

All I saw you doing was speccing to come up with an excuse.

I dont spawn camp, I dont obj whore, I play for the team and it seems that you dont want that either.

Sorry but I dont see anything in your rules. I dont rape. I play well and I play as a team player.

Seems you get power hungry cause I switched sides and your side then got wiped out, but when I am sitting there helping and reviving your team it would be ok.

humm hummm...

A 20 mins defense where only the last obj is missing is always a better game than rolling over the defense in 6 mins.

Anyways, I m sure you ll find another server where ppl are more your level of skill. Gives you more of a challenge, makes games on our server for the average player and beginners more enjoyable.

I wasnt arguing with the ref - just there pov isnt correct when you look at the game and the rules for YOUR server. I done nothing wrong. Nite just on a power trip it seems. So it comes down to its our server and we are the only ones who can own/win on a map/campaign. If were not winning or get rolled over we will kick or perma ban. Good advert.

I play on lower servers as I like to try with class's that i dont usually so that I can get better at them. But I laugh at the way you have done this and put here for others too read about so they are WARNED of the actions of Nite and what to expect from the UBC server.

Games went on nicely and well after you left. I m sorry, but if 12 players have a good and lasting game (GDF lost but had a good defense instead of getting owned) its totally worth having a dominating player leave.
If it was ET, I d suggest you play on bio/efterlyst of whatever the pro servers are called now. Ours is a medium-skill server with quite some new players too. They deserve their fun, and that s what it is about.

I dont know where you get the idea that

a) One good player makes a team own another
b) I should be playing on a top ranking/skilled server as thats my decision and I also know that I am not as skilled as you think I am. Yes you might have known me and the top UK clan that I helped run on ET, but this is a different game, different skills and I play for leisure now.

Sorry that you feel that you and UBC have to play at such a low level where the only satisifaction that you will get from the server is owning noobs (as you would put it). Most clans/players would rather play against a skill set that they are happy with and challenging. Your server was challenging for me as there is a fine line between the whores and glory hunters (like you seem to be) and those wishing to learn (who i had time for).

But im sure this is a great advert for you, your clan and server.

I dominate every time I come onto your server, I see each admin spec me, but non of them kick me.

You kicked me the other night, because I was talking.

The other guy i was "dominating" was giving me grief, and I was to give it back, but you didnt like this.

non of us like to get beat real fast, but at the end of the day its just a game, and after three maps the game shuffles itself anyway.

you cannot just kick the "dominating" players because YOU want an even game.

you have to think about those players, or would you rather the dominating players not to come to the server?

I think the whole quote above is completely out of order, my opinion is dont kick dominating" players because they kill you alot or end the game, they dominate because you cannot motivate your team, or because you cannot be bothered using some stats up to teach some players on your team.

I love teamwork, and without teamwork you will never win a game.
In a game they might have the best shooters in the world, but with great teamwork you will definitely win.

To me, you are abusing your admin and taking advantage of your authority, I have been playing on UBC server for alot longer than most have, and I also had a server on the same MULTIPLAY server box you guys use(or used to use), so I would not like our relationship to turn sour.

EDIT, you will probably never see me attacking, I love defending, in my personal opinion 75% of the games i play while defending last the whole map.

I never spawn kill if i do i apologize as I spawn killed moosea once.

as Igor says, annoying you is bad, but cumon, its a pulic server, let the public play how they want, if you want a game your way, make a private server invite who you want and tell them how to play, then see how many people come to your server.

I am one of those guys who sometimes stays up all night on one server who fills it up, I can however provide the stats of previous names etc. but I dont think I will need to as I know you will probably believe me.

Its not like we pay anyone to stay on our server, much less so players that got kicked for being annoying.
You got kicked last time for insulting another player, and you did get warned AND muted before I kicked you.

I used to have the server and we kept it fuller longer than you, as I actually checked the stats, we had the server 24/7 for about 6 days on the run, but do you know something, we kicked around 3-4 people in that time, and no ban was mentioned. we helped peopel play, and then played ourselves.

the guy was chatting on about how good he was, he needed someone like me, to knock his ego level down, do you not think.

I got muted and the guy carried on, thats justice at its best.

and to top it all off, I know im going to get banned from here anyway as you don want to answer my questions, as you cannot be bothered to deal with someone who has alot of opinions.

Thanks for writing stephen, it was fun but I don't think it's necessary you apply.
I won't say all your critics was non sense but your way to introduce it was a little presumptuous.

A ban is someway always a mistake except teamkillers, but sometimes you are simply not enough patient to admin the server with diplomaty.

About people that are annoying with your supposed cheat, we just ask you to be smarter than them & to not reply. We will clean the morons.

well there you have it, i suppose your clan does not want the beneficial part of the community to join your growing community.

I did not for one second say I would be able to stop all traffic coming to your server but I merely said My friends would not like the "abuse" of admin that you are given even if it is your own server.

this game is no popularity contest but sometimes to thrive the better games you need to have good communications with the more experienced players of the community.

as you said, I will not be applying, I am sure you can find better players than me

There are specialist web sites for over 18's to do this kind of thing - perhaps you would be better visiting one of them?
If you choose to use our server for this purpose then it is probable that you will be kicked!

The task of admining a server, and doing it well, is a very difficult task, as I am sure you are aware.
In the above situation I would agree with McNite's actions completely.

In future applications to other clans can i suggest to you that most clans are based around groups of friends who play together.
While constructive comments are always welcome, I find that there is little constructive in your comments, and they mainly seem to criticise our way of admining our server.

The reason that Vanishing point is such a popular server with all skill levels is, I believe, due to the hard work of ALL of our admins and a set of reasonable rules which ensure fun gaming.

I was in the Dessi in the tunnel (don't know which map? ) stopping the GDF fixing the MCP.
Someone speaks in french, something?? I don't know what, so carry on attacking with the Dessi, some more french gibberish, then KICKED!!
My solution to the kick, I've never played on JPR again nor will I ever again
I never posted on their board and never went back to complain, it was all soo simple

But thats the reason why I only join engl. or german servers... I hear and can respond to what they say... french has always been a bit suspicious to me.
Argue the refs call is just brainless... But I guess complainers never played soccer. Else they would have been knowing that arguing the call can only result in a harder punishment... (I have been the man in black for several years)
Just to mention it:
I never got kicked for 'bad behaviour' only for freeing up slots for members/friends of the server...

little off. topic (?) i got my very first ban some days ago from a server called the ev!lution of horror.. i had to take a screenshot of the ban.. my first one after 8 or 9 years playing online.. and for no real reason.. i was just killing too many drones and enemies as gdf.. if you're on a hot night and are lucky you're doomed!
