I have just the most annoying pet. I have to always have an eye on him. Also you might know each time you succeed in killing me, it's cause its is trying to make a bullshit on my desk. its best exploit: it eats the jack connection of my headset.

Let me introduce to you: Emma and Findus Emma is our dog in disguise, she retrieves paper beads, constantly and Findus is our siren, at least in the early morning, when you leave your room.

Your tank is beautiful crabs.
I understand now why Z tells me it was expensive. It might cost you a fortune.

Thanks, it was a lot of work to setup and is a lot of work to take care of. It's a 90 gallon saltwater tank.
We just a got a new fish today too that I'll have to try to snap a pic of. We probably only have room for about one more big fish. Down the road we might try to grow some aquatic plants/algea and maybe even coral, but they are challenging and require extremely expensive lighting setups.

If I do calc right (I like geometry) a qube with
90 gallons (am.) = app. 340.5 litres
has an edge length of
69,8 cm = app. 27.5'' or 2'3.5''

It is about 4 feet long x 1.5 feet wide x 2 feet tall. There is another 10 gallon "tide pool" reservoir that is hidden underneath the main tank that has filters, heaters, etc... in it. The 5 armed guy is a serpent starfish. He normally only likes to come out at night. He/she moves quite fast, almost like an octopus.

Gallon (liquid)
imp. = 4.54609 litres am. = 3.785411784 litres
source: wikipedia.org
conversion:
1 am. gallon = 0.8327 imp. gallons (app.) 1 imp. gallon = 1.2010 am. gallons (app.)

What's the dimensions though Fossi? turns out a 36''x12''x18'' =30 gallons 48''x18''x24''=90 gallons Doesn't seem that much bigger, but is 3 times the size! My maths is poop

36''*12''*18'' =
91.4cm*30.5cm*45.7cm = 127,426 cm³ = 127.426 litres =
28.02 imp. gallons = 33.67 US gallons
48''*18''*24'' =
121.9cm*45.7cm*61.0cm = 339,802 cm³ = 339.802 litres =
74.75 imp. gallons = 89.77 US gallons
Metrics.... use more metrics... you won't have these conversion problems any more...

Metrics Pffft, foreign stuff I thought the USA was the only major stubborn holdout from converting to metric. Having to make use of two systems, one of which is totally arbitrary, is pretty silly. Just think of the economic stimulus from having to convert everything over to metric.

That's a very nice saltwater aquarium you got there man I love those colors, both the fishies and that the aquarium can change colors with the lightning.. cool. It is difficult to have a saltwater aquarium, unlike a freshwater aquarium?

It is difficult to have a saltwater aquarium, unlike a freshwater aquarium? Freshwater can be tough too, depending on what kind of animals you're trying to keep. It does take quite a bit of maintenance to keep any saltwater tank. My tank is classified as "fish only". I don't have any coral, large anemones, or aquatic plants/algea. Having a tank with those organisms moves things too another whole new level.
